Shaerk,

That is a wicked patina you put on your blades. I noticed that in some of your earlier work too. The lightening in those photos shows the color and texturing of the finish. I'd love to hear a little about your processes, but i understand if you need to keep the trade secrets in the shop. Looking forward to getting a close up look on my little mook! Great design and looks to be a successful execution in build. Lastly, i heard you really enjoy working with 1095. Is it a personal favorite to work with?

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,
First, let me thank you again for the purchase. We do a number of things to produce our patina. Sorry, but I can't share.😁 hope you understand. 1095 is definitely a favorite. I first used it on some knives way back around 35 years ago when I was a toolmaker.
Thanks,
Mark

So i originally got the mini mook with a buddy in mind. Well...that was before it arrived. This piece is top tier. My only concern is if it is too beautiful to use and abuse (though there is no doubt the mini mook can handle it).

The fit and finish are detailed, thoughtful and well executed. This is a small edc knife, yet the handle size and contouring allow for a full and comfortable (4-finger) grasp. Everything is flush and extremely smooth. The jimping is grippy, yet smooth and refined enough for prolonged use.

Other features:

-precise, mirrored edge
-dark, slightly textured patina.
- well done kydex sheath.
- exposed (full) tang with lanyard hole

I highly recommend purchasing from Mark. If you are on the fence, go for it. You can't beat the value for a custom piece of this quality.

Thanks, Mark!
