Got 7 to move, 5 lightly used and 2 lnib. Accepting Paypal G&S, CONUS via USPS. Finally got my computer up and working so this is the first thread where i actually have pics!! Here's the list...
Spyderco Yojumbo: Lnib Carried a handful of times but has only cut receipt paper. I love it but it just doesn't have a place among my collection. The edge is sharp but by no means a razor edge, more of a working one. Perfect centering/lockup. No blade play. SPF
Spyderco Canis: Lnib carried but has not cut more than receipt paper like the yojumbo. I love my Taichung Spydies but i just don't find myself carrying this one at all. Very sharp edge. Perfect centering/lockup. No blade play. SOLD
Kershaw Tumbler: Lnib carried several times but never cut anything but receipt paper just like the two above. Working edge. I find this one a little difficult to open, putting any pressure on the lock bar during opening can interfere with the process quite a bit. Crazy drop shutty for a knife of this price point. Perfect lockup/centering. No blade play. 45->35
Civivi Courser: Lnib this one's discontinued i think, which is a shame because this was a neat model. Its sporting vg-10 with a very sharp slight recurve edge. I've rarely carried this one but it's been in the collection for some time. I doubt this thing has seen anything other than receipt paper because it barely ever made it into my pocket, but i've had it for a little while now. Perfect lockup/centering. Pretty drop-shutty with the action. No blade play. SOLD
Aaron Frederick/Trash Panda Knives Kit Knife: This knife is a bit of an oddball in my collection as generally I don't like slip joints but this one had me for awhile. This model has the black g-10 scales. I bought it from a BF member who claimed it a was a cpm-154 model but the majority of them that i see online are aeb-l and he didn't seem certain. The spring is pretty strong as I haven't really broken this in. The blade is sharp but i did strop it a few times. No major flaws but there is a small burr on the tip (tried to capture in pics) that i never bothered to remove. 125->100
Kubey 245 Raven: Love this knife. Carried a few times and this one has actually seen some interesting abuse. While I was running an errand my girlfriend decided to use this one to scrape some tape off of some metal bars. I thought my edge was ruined but i put it to a stone and i recovered the edge with little effort. Seems like the aus-10 performs/touches up like vg-10. The action is very nice, good drop-shutty action. No blade play. 45->40
Kizer Sheepdog XL Black G-10: Of this lot the kizer has seen the most wear. I've been using this bad boy for food prep mostly but it's seen some pocket time. There are a few corrosion spots near the logo on the presentation side. Tried to remove them but only with a cloth and it yielded no positive result. There is a small edge deformation in the middle of the blade that looks to me like a chip. I did my best to include pics of the deformations. SOLD
Thanks for looking and thank you BF!
