The Major tells me there must be no distinction made regarding gender. Even the recruiting poster says, "a few good men."

I'm just PC -- even though I'd rather not be.

It's awesome to see that there's still a place for wood, horn, leather, and good carbon steel in today's hi-tech military. Great pics!

Delgado looks like he's already seen Duvon's tape, and is taking to his khuk nicely.

You know they say theres something about women who can kick a$$, but then Im just a kindly PC hermit so I wouldnt know anything about that.:D Great pics by the way.
 
Yep, she's a cutie. But women with blades do it fer me, what can I say.

Note that five marines have displayed four different grips, all viable.

Olah uses a modified axe-grip (square grip), with the thump locked over the bolster. Moss and "Captains of Crush" use the standard square grip. Noel uses the more diagonal sword grip (my fave) with thumb on spine. Also commoonly taught knife fightin' grip. Delgado (yes he is!) uses Duvon's 'bolster lock' axe grip, which is the choked up axe grip.

Good stuff!

From the top down -
Olah: 21" Gelbu Special
Moss: 18" WWII, possibly an AK
Noel: 20" Sirupati
Delgado: 18" Baby Ganga Ram ?
Captains of Crush: 18" Sirupati???? - actually, looks like an overgrown BAS, but I didn't think the BAS had handles that long. Maybe a pointy WWII with inlaid sword of Shiva?

OK, now you try! Wonder if anyone can tell the kamis jusf from the pics - that would be a true khuk nut.
 
I set on of the picks as my background. Now I'm greeted by a scary looking Marine when I get on. I think Crush has a BAS.
 
Great pix! Man or woman, the person on the first pic is cute.
My only concern is if they have read the "safety thread"....

Judging from the picture on his shirt a "Captain of Crush" is a reference to a hand exercising device sold as the "Gripper".

The smile on the ladies face makes you wonder if she would really use that khuk on a body but, I bet she would.

Those marines are going to be helping look for terrorists in the jungle if I'm not mistaken.

Didn't you guys notice that Olah is married? (ring) She might have the biggest smile but she's also holding the biggest blade!:eek:
