I have almost 20 lineal feet of CPM 154 in my garage but I can't quit using 440 C for my knives. Here are the latest ones: PS the first knife has not been sharpened yet.

440c is actually one of my favorite steels. Yes there are those super duper steels, but easy of sharpening, length of sharpness, and corrosion resistance all put together form a great steel in 440c. These look great man! Keep it up.

Ggoose, I use bottles of dry color pigment from K&G knife supply. They have black, red, white, yellow, and tan. I use the black, red, or yellow for liners and also to fill around the file work. I sometimes use painters acrylic paint color from tubes that I get at Aaron's art supplies but you must not use much or your epoxy gets rubbery., I use it to color match pits in burl wood but not for holding scales on. The dry pigment is always the best for strong epoxy and I use West Systems G-flex epoxy for strength. I have heard that Acraglass by Brownells gunsmithing is good too although I have not used it. Thanks Larry. I'll get some of that dry pigment, and maybe give that file work a try as well...most impressive.
