Very very nice!
Is there any info on steel and HRC?
Thank you! Though I must admit, the pics were taken by the factory. Wish I was better at photographySuperb knife and editing, man. That blade shape is particularly sexy.
I like it. I think the clip point is going to have a decent appeal to the US market. And if I am not mistaken, the frame lock looks to be protruding from the chassis ever so slightly, which is always a welcomed feature and a good selling point.
If I were to humbly suggest anything, it would be to add 3-4 parallel thin, shallow lines along chassis, kinda like ZT470. But cost maybe an issue and it's really good as is, so YMMV.
That doesn't matter, ZT or Sinkevich didn't invent those lines, and those design element have long existed before them. I just think those lines may look rather interesting since the titanium slope taper towards the end of handle, and would make those lines flow like river lines in a Zen garden.Thank you, I already get told my knives look like ZTs
I had a post all typed up praising your knife.
Don't get me wrong, it is a beautiful knife and I love the design.
However, I went to your website and most, if not all, your knives and gear are being produced in China.
That being the case, it's a NO from me.
I buy things made in China because I'm a blue collar American that shops at conventional retail stores.
There are definitely some Japanese made products that I buy because I highly prefer them.
I am not starting a political debate here in GD but there are some countries I'll buy from (the first being America) and some countries I won't purchase things from if reasonably avoidable at all.
I avoid Chinese made goods where I reasonably can, and my beloved knives are one area I avoid it every single time.
Make your own blades, or pay Americans to do it and I'd be much more interested.
Your designs are great, but your manufacturing protocol is questionable.
If you know good shops, I'm completely open to the Idea, In fact I just paid a shop in the US yesterday to machine my new pry.
While I appreciate and respect your views, I don't think calling my manufacturing questionable is fair. I'm a single dude trying to penetrate a highly mature and competitive market. Even big manufacturers in China, don't give me the time of day because they have bigger fish to fry. With minimum orders, A knife run costs about $20k to produce. I can't imagine how much higher would be considering cost and minimums in the US. When billion dollar companies produce stuff in China, I think I'm allowed to do so without it being called questionable, your buying preferences aside. I'm trying to do the best I can with what I have and if the alternative is to not make knives at all, that's not happening.

I will not buy a knife made in China. I would be happy to buy one made in Taiwan. Taiwanese knives I have were affordable and appear well made.
I can understand somewhat... It's not YOUR manufacturing, but Chinese manufacturing I don't like. I hear ya on the large, greedy corporations.
Sometimes, you gotta play the game the way the game is played if you want to win. I don't even know you and I'd be willing to bet that your 1000's of times more honest than these large corportations.
Good on ya for having products made in the US where/ when you can. In all reality, I buy US when I can, but if I went through all my crap a lot of it would end up being Chinese made, same for most folks I bet. This qualifies me as somewhat of a hypocrite....
I'm wondering if this might be an option, an acceptable middle ground so to speak... If a knife is good, and it's designed and sold by an honest company, I don't have nearly as much of a problem with Taiwanese made products. They'd still be cheaper on both ends manufacturing wise to keep business going too.
I wish you the best of luck with your business and would be happy to purchase a blade from you if/ when they aren't made in China.
The design in this particular post looks so nice that it's very tempting, but I can't bring myself to buy Chinese products if it can be helped.
If it were a world where all my knife options were Chinese made, I'd at least buy from an honest small business like yours rather than some big, greedy corporation. Again, you aren't personally in question, but it's the Chinese I don't trust.
