Do you know if the chef is the newer model with a ceramic detent ball? I hat the code on the box is “dr”.

Don’t have the box I believe it is newer model but would have to take apart to confirm which I can if I must for a serious inquiry

Well, I have read that the ball is kinda dark grey if ceramic, maybe a close up photo? Also of the blade and handle? I will buy if ceramic ball and not too scratched up!

I will take it apart tomorrow and send pics if no one’s claimed it by then. Its past my bedtime 😩

I took a closer look, then compared it to the Para 3. Thank you for the honesty, it does not happen often on the internet.

I will still consider it just because of your honesty. Please send me better pictures of the blade. Thanks.
