Up for sale is my Corehart pattern. I've always been a big fan of the Kephart pattern. So I decided to take some of my favorite attributes of the pattern and come up with my own version. This is the result.

This is a working knife. It has comfortable handles and disappears in your palm. It has 4-7/8" handles and a 4-1/2" blade. It's contoured to fit comfortably in the hand for long periods of time. The blade is ground with a convex sabre grind and is very sharp. The price includes all Paypal fee's and shipping through USPS in the lower 48.

Price: $160 w/ a leather sheath SPF

9/64" 1095 Steel @ 58-60
Handles are Butcher Blocks Denim Rag Micarta (Smashed Hippies) over .030" White G10 and 1/8" Dark Brown Canvas Micarta
(3) 1/4" Natural Micarta Pins and (1) 1/8" Natural Micarta pin just behind the lanyard tube
OAL is 9-1/2"
Handle is 4-7/8"
Blade Length is 4-1/2"

Wow, I love those. That Corehart + denim rag micarta looks awesome. Keep up the great work. Too bad I had to buy a new washer + dryer this month. Wifey put a hold on new toys for awhile.

edit - For future info, do you accept a US postal money order too?

that is some fine work. dangit mike! been eyeing your knives. but, i am going away next week. don't think i can do it. although...if i have to confess...i am writing this comment not just for an "atta boy" but also for a "marker." brother. i have a problem.

Michael, Looking great! My favorite is the "Malus"

Should make some people very happy.

+1 on the Malus. Thats all I need , another fine craftsman to put on the watch list. Liked that Nessy in black palm you had available also.
Regards, Randy

great stuff Michael.. those all look great man. i really like that Malus knife.. that ones just my style..:)

I'm deviating from the crowd here and I'm going to say the Baby Malus is my favorite. It makes me want to spend a week in the woods with it just to prove it's all I need.

I really appreciate the responses. Thank you all.

I'm going to go in a totally different direction from everyone. I like the Corehart as my favorite. There is something about that pattern, when it's in my hand that makes me want to go cut stuff. Fuzzsticks, carrots, car hoods, venison, traps, cord, you name it. I almost named that pattern Ali, because it's the Champ in my mind. I have two more Corehart patterns ready for scales. I'm going to put Maple Burl on one and keep it for myself.

Looks like the Malus and Baby Malus are SPF.

The Briar and Corehart are still available. If you have any additional questions on either one send me a message.

Hey "Ho" You cheating on me? Hahaha Michael does great work!

Ryan, go easy with the "great work". :D

I'm still striving to have my best work on par with your mistakes. Well, that is if you made a mistake. Ryan thought he made a mistake once but he was mistaken.

Michael your work really IS top notch. Everything is so clean and ergonomic, and the texturing on the flats is subtle yet beautiful.

I'll have to snap one of these up one day before they start going for a lot more ;)

Hey Michael...I think I want the denim Corehart if it's still available...what's your Paypal?

I think you will like that pattern. If you don't, send it back to me and I'll refund you your money.
