Hi All,

Its been a busy week but made the time to actually do what I like to do. The result, four very different Palm Knives finished and up for sale.

4knives-1.jpg

All are made from 3/16ths 1095 all hardened and tempered to a 58-59 all have mirror finishes. The details on each knife will follow with the pictures of it.

From the top first is my take on a palm knife neck knife and sheath. The quarter gives you some indication of the size. The knife is sharpened on both edges and comes to a very sharp point as my finger can attest to.

Specifics:
3/16ths 1095 to a RC57-58
Overall length of the knife 2.75 inches
Overall length of the knife in the sheath 3 inches
Blade retention in the sheath is slight pressure fit with 3 rare earth magnets.
Width across the carved handle of the knife is 1 5/16ths
Sheath is approximately 2.75 x .75 x .5 inches and made from the white part of Gabon Black Ebony
Price shipped to the lower 48 $70.00 SOLD

The second one down is my take on a very old style which I have seen represented in paintings and wood cuts from the 1600’s through the 1800’s

Specifics:
Blade 3/16ths 1095 to a RC 58-59
Handles are ¼ inch 1095 for the palm and 3/16th for the finger guard, not hardened.
Blade length in front of the finger guard is 5 inches
The total length of the knife is just under 6.5 inches
The length of the palm piece is 2.5 inches and about 3/8 of an inch wide.
The black finger spacer is antique Black Coral with leather spacer on either end.
Price $125 shipped to the lower 48

The third one down is something similar to another knife I made a while back. Double edged, VERY firm in the hand and very functional for those who like to carry these type of knives.

Specifics:
Blade is 3/16ths 1095 to a RC57-58 very sharp.
Blade length in front of the palm handles is 3.75 inches, more around the arc.
Overall length is 5 inches
The height of the blade is about 1.5 inches as is the handle.
Handles are made from Black Walnut with 2 1/8 in brass pins and are about 7/8 wide.
This is a very functional well-made self-defense knife. Or offence I would guess.
Price $80 shipped to the lower 48 SOLD

The bottom one is Simplicity its self.

The specifics:
3/16ths 1095 to a RC 58-59
Blade length in front of the top finger cutout is 2 7/8 inches
Overall length of the knife is 4.75 inches
Height of the handle is 1.75 inches
Mirror finish very easy to conceal.
Don’t be fooled by its simplicity, this is a very real knife.
Price shipped to the lower 48 $45.00 Sold

Thanks for looking. The mini palm knife comes with the sheath. The others are sold, as is however I make custom Kydex sheaths and they are available for $10 each for the above knives. I get considerable more for my Kydex work on ebay look up lemonwoodgallery there and you will see what I mean and what I can do. Any way now how about some comments, good bad or just to say hi.

Thanks, Ken

Reminds me of Fred Perrin. Very nice work. I admire the more sinister weapons.

That very first one is by far the nicest you've ever done! the scabbard doesn't do it for me but the knife is definitely a good route for you.

These are some of the best you've ever done. Very impressed with these.

We really need to see a photo of that medieval palm knife in hand. I'm having difficulty visualizing that.

I am definitely getting a couple of blades from you as soon as I get my finances situated.

With all due respect, that 4th "simplicity" knife is a nearly perfect push dagger design. With scales attached it would be perfect.

That upswept double-edge pushdagger is totally badassed.

I'd love to see a slightly smaller single-edged hawkbill from you.

I got this chunk of 1084 I was gonna do the same with.

Its certainly hard enough to do it. Probubly cut through the mail and the Kevlar. It tapers real pointy and thin.

Let me see how you come along with it. Careful when you cut the place for the fingers there is a tendency to make it to thin. Keep it to 3/16ths if you can no smaller than 1/8 inch. Ken
