4 years now...

Another that came along that year, but near the end of year.

Man it doesn't seem that long ago! I remember many of us that came along that year made it to Blade in 07, and met for the first time. It was really great to meet you, and the other fellow newbies from 06.

, where I posted a congrats in your thread about a certain very cool rams horn CS GW...which I believe was your first INFI score.

Good memory, that it was.

Ditto rpn's comment and question and I'll add, what condition was it in when you got it?
Pete

No, it was mint. I have had four RWs pass through my hands, have kept one, but not that first.

Glad I could help you get here....

Thanks, Unka Hammie! Hoping to get down to a Cow-lumbus show and say Hi.

Guy has enough choppers to arm the entire neighborhood ICOZA:cool::cool:

Who, me?

[ Since you spent so much $$ Maybe you would like to part with this one. :D:p

Very good, that would be the proper Hog response.

I'm not even keeping a list on that one. ;)

No, it certainly doesn't. Time flies when you spend it with good friends.

2006.

Maybe the worst and certainly the most stressful year of my life.:(

Also the year I found BF and Busse. Believe me, it made a difference and helped me stay just a little sane.;)

And I'm quite proud to be a member of any class that includes Guy.

happy hog day.
that was around that same time i got my first - a camp tramp, and then an FBM, and a BATAC . . . .
didn't join the forums for a while though.

Hey?! Was that the RW I stripped and sold to Tyrkon? The timing would have been about right.

Happy anniversery Guy :) I am glad I have joined the rest of you who have been on the path before me. I look forward to a long ride and eventually getting to meet all of you. It has only been 1 month for me, but already I sit at work everyday with Bladeforums open, searching, reading, and dreaming of more INFI.

I went back and looked, he sold that in February 06. It would be interesting to try and track it, see how amny hands it passed through. Stripped RW are very cool, the one I have kept is a very nice example done by stomper (JK Knives) just before he started making knives.

You are a great contributor, RG. Congrats on your credit lines lasting this long.

No credit. I just used up my daughters college money. :D

But I can sell all the knives for a huge profit, right? Right?

Congrats on 4 years, I just made 6 months and just made a Busse & Kin count, 39, at that pace in 4 years I might need a 12 step program. Oh I forgot the Scrapwaki and regulator still on order.

Congrats on still surviving the madness. You have always been a solid contributor here. Much appreciated. As for my starting anyone's addiction all I can say is that the sickness spreads on its own with or without the help of the infected. :D

Congrats on your fourth anniversary... Wishing you four more just like it....;)

Ah, but how many of us have looked at all our INFI and said to ourselves.." I'm happy with my collection, I've got everything I want.. I think I've probably bought my last Busse" THEN>>>> Jerry comes out with something like the GLADIUS, or a remake of the Satin Jack, Killa Zilla 2 and the Gemini... and we say... Hum... maybe just a few more :-)
I just hope I have instilled the "liking" in my son for for infi and fine weaponry... I hate to think of my wife selling all this at a garage sale one day after I bite the dust for $10 a knife.. :)

Exactly why I got into Busses in a big way. Bought my first in 1994, but only had a few until 2002 when Kimberly's hit and run occurred. For several years my outdoor activities went to zero as I was confined to home taking care of her. My developing Busse sickness gave me a diversion and an outlet. Each knife I bought represented a promise to myself of future hunting and fishing. At some point the collection became an end in itself.

Busse helped keep me sane, and fortunately my wonderful wife recognized that fact and encouraged it.

Tell her I'll pay $200 each for every Busse you leave her.:D

My journey on this road to perdition began four years ago, when I bought a Ratweiler from Tyrkon Lawson. Here's what I said then:

Four years, many knives, too many $$$ later (), it's been a great ride. Thanks to everyone for making this a great community.
