$400 for pocket knife......your choice?

Wow, a LOT of interesting choices here............

Thanks to everyone for posting their ideas

This is going to take some time !

Keep 'em coming !

I'll second the Strider SnG.

You can now get the SnG with a stone washed blade. Looks really good and retails for $400.

I would go with a Mike Franklin "HAWG". The real ones, not the imported crap.

Peter Marzitelli could probably make you a knife that could be had for under 400 bucks.
this would me my choice as well - The Lignum dino Skinner, what a name:D

Shan Sibert ...pocket Rocket... you'll need more then 400.00 and it will be along wait....unless you get lucky

My advice would be to get a Chris Reeve Sebenza; that's the knife the Alias is trying to upstage. They're both fine knives, but I've handled the two, and there's no doubt in my mind as to the better knife.

Extrema Ratio RAO...while quite possibly the ugliest knife on the planet, it is a whole lot of fun and a great convo piece.

Theuns Prinsloo.. He makes some famously rock solid functional and beautiful pieces. This guy is the real deal. Here are two of my one handers.

Hand forges his own signature Damascus perfectly ground, Fire Apple Coral scales, Ruby thumb stud..

Exotic Wood scales(snakewood?) Hand forged ect..ect..

Sounds like you need something fun, dont quote me but I believe Oklahoma is auto friendly. Go for a Microtech Troodon. One of the most fun knives you'll ever own.

I'm trying to find many of the names and knives listed, but with the limited information, I'm having some trouble.....:(

If possible, please give a complete name of both the maker and model. A link would be extra nice, but I can find it if I have enough information.

I really appreciate the ideas being posted ! Discovering a lot of knives ! :D
