This is great for both of you. You guys are both a great help to all of us forumites.

My question is...How come Chuck is "Musical Director" and I'm just a measly "Basic Member"? Let's see if Tony can find a thread to answer that one...

Man that's a lot of posting... congradulations!! You should do an personal study on the average time spent per post and see how much of your life has been tied up in this place... :D
 
I became Musical Director when Spark took the place over and started a thread something like, "What can we do to improve this place?"

Well, with my characteristic dry whit, I replied that what we needed was something that would add class and sophistication, even elegance, something that would distinguish bf.c as the premier knife discussion board. And my proposal: a marimba band!

But, there's lots of marimba bands in the world. We want something distinctive. So, I further proposed that it be a Marching Marimba Band (If you don't know what one is, a Marimba is a very large instrument that weights 600-1000 lbs., so, marching with one would be very difficult. But, there is actually one real marching marimba band in the world).

So, I was promptly promoted to Musical Director and given the task of organizing BF.C's Own, the internet's only Marching Marimba Band.
