402 Micarta Akonua 2006

I know there's the old micarta Akonua and Kalinga from the 1970's, anyone seen the new one? I was browsing New Graham Knives(from where I borrowed this picture) and thought it was an interesting remake. I hope Buck taps into a steady micarta supply.

I always thought that the Kalinga and Akouna were really nice knives. I've never seen them around though. Sucks that such a cool looking model isn't very common. First heard about that model in this book.

There are plenty of Kalinga's available in all kinds of handle materials. psycho it looks like you have given that digest a bit of a work out .
