I guess thats the answer then, just order an Alpha sheath for your 403-I assume then as well, that it would fit well in the leather alpha sheath too.

Here is is with the leather Alpha sheath. It fits Ok also, so I think either one would be a good replacement for the stock sheath.:thumbup:

Yeah, better than that clip. Although I think the nylon looks more natural. Notice the cutout in th top of the leather sheath and how it fits right around the end of the inlay of the Alpha.

Must have been the new dealer catalog I was looking at, just checked Buck and indeed both sheaths are on the site.
