410 stainless steel

Hi Guys,

I cannot seem to find 410 SS in the thickness of .040" (1.0mm) in Canada. Can someone direct me to a supplier, even in the US will be fine.
I am in Montreal, Quebec.

I buy mine off Ebay and forge it down.

Karl, thanks for the reply. I am not afraid of doing it the hard way but I don't have a forge and heating and beating equipment.
I was thinking there must be some other solution, surely everyone that uses this sort of thing doesn't have to forge it first?

Do a google search for .040" 410 SS. Several knifemaking suppliers have it.
