4161 steel?

I was wondering if anyone makes blades out of this, looks like 5160 with a little moly. thx

I believe it would be considered a "High Carbon Stain-Free" steel which is very desirable for kitchen duty. my question is where does one find it? and is it available in PFG or atleast mill finish 1/8" x 2 1/2"? also is there any higher carbon content available?

It would not be 'stain free'. Probably very similar in performance to 5160 or 9260.
