420HC test results

Buck's BG42 beats ZDP-189. I am wondering what will it be - ZDP-189 heat treated by Buck? Next I will test Alaskan Guide 110.

Its interesting Dozier knives stayes on top even though he does NOT use a cryogenic soak in his heat treating.!! DM

I actually start testing them December 2006, somewhere on this forum should be thread about that. Then I found that I can not sharpen them to same level, so I postpone that testing until I learn how to sharpen. Now after almost 2 years I am done with all my different Bucks 110.

Thanks for the hard work in these tests. The results are very interesting for Buck fans. Now I need to go look through the boxes for my BPS CPM154 110! (I'm still in refugee mode from Hurricane Ike.)
 
Very neat. Might I suggest testing the 420HC on the chinese imports to see how well it compares to the American 420HC?
