I aggree with Longbow, I vaguely remember Joe H. talking about this and he said '94 if I remember correctly.
 
That changeover has always been considered a late 92 or early 93 thing.

Did some archeologist uncover some new clues in the Buck rubble to nail it down precisely?

Hardly any changes have ever happened on January 1st.
