440A or 420C

I read somewhere that in the later years, Schrade changed from 440A to 420C stainless. Is there an approximate year in which this happened? Did they change all Schrade+ blades to 420 to just some?

Sooooo, it LOOKS like 440A through a least 2001...but, this might have also been out of date and no longer correct by then.

One of the guys who really knows what they are talking about, should be along soon to answer your question....and rescue me as well...
