Here's a small neck knife that I made as a sheath prototype. The sheath's a little rough around the edges on the belt loop and the front of the handle isn't as polished as the handle, but it's a great little user.

It's mainly meant to be used as a neck knife but it can be carried on a belt. Vertically, or horizontally if it's a thin belt or the horizontal carry would work great on a pack strap. There's a hole in each corner for a lot of strapping/carrying options.

edit: Just noticed that it fits great in the cell sized side pocket of my pants. With the square bottom it sits in there nice.

I think that's a great little combo. I carry a small fixed blade more often than not.

That's a real beauty Mike, I just love your work. I just bought 2 knives in the last week in this size range or I'd be all over this. I really like the character of this sheath. If this sits more than a day I'll probably have to commit; knowing your work I doubt it will last more than a couple hours.
