44wt steel for a knife?

I have access to some 44wt steel for some blanks but I'm currently using O1. I can't seem to find any information about the suitability of this steel for knives.

Any input is appreciated.

Only has .22 carbon, so wouldn't be ideal for knife making.

Yes, 44wt is the Canadian version of A36 - it is just steel deck plate ... no good for a knife. And when I say no good, I mean it will NOT make a usable knife at all.

Nuts, I'll just use it for practice bevels and grinds.
