Today we have an Alistair Bastian “Pterosaur” from 2021. It is marked “Prototype” inside the backspacer and fully signed “Bastian #251”.
The knife is pristine, I bought it new from Ali, and comes with COA and hard case.
The murdery-looking blade is made from Damasteel and about 3.6”, the knife, overall, a little over 8 1/2 “.The backspacer is a double row stainless hand-files chevron pattern, the scales are Alii’s own Timascus “Bastanium”.
The bolsters are carved and blackened zirconium
Pocket clip is made from Damasteel. Pivot screws are hand-filed and pivot collars made from Bastanium.
This knife is particularly well-balanced and feel great in the hand.
