I think its one of BM's best Little Big knives to date.
Really like the blade shape.
Folks should probably hold one before they say one way or another. Just my 2.........

Picked one up last night. Love the blade shape. I didn't pay anywhere close to the $191.25 map pricing(don't think it's worth that price). Everything is negotiable. My advise is if the 484 peaks your interest, shop around you can get one for much less.

I posted my initial impressions on this elsewhere on the World Wide Web. Here is what I wrote.

I just wanted to drop a note and let anybody know that is sitting on the fence about getting one of these that you should grab one. I just picked one up today and I think I may have found a new EDC for myself.

Smaller-sized, but not tiny and definitely not wimpy, it will dominate my office environment. When I hit the trail in a couple to go camping, I'm pretty sure it will serve as my pocket carry there too.

M390 steel is my personal favorite. Even my remedial sharpening skills allow me to get a knife super, scary (hair popping) sharp. It's my opinion and preference, but the axis lock is my favorite locking system. I wish BM didn't have a patent on it, so others could use it.

The molded G10 fits my small-medium hands great. I love the spear-pointed blade, especially the swedge. I haven't had a chance to do a ton of piercing, but I'm betting it will make stabbing smoother, while maintaining a solid tip.

As far as aesthetics, I like funky, but I can also appreciate "finer" things. With the extraggerated thumb ramp, scalloped g10 and beautiful silver ring around the pivot, this knife has enough funk and class to make me smile.

tl;dr: m390+axis lock = win.
