Hey Bro,
The machine I am using is "welding" the carbides to the titanium
It will burn all the way through the blade if you are not careful
The machine I am using "Rocklinizer" costs twenty times as much as the hobbiest units such as the "Travers"

Those little hobby machines are just sputtering carbide on the surface they do not penetrate and form a mechanical bond.

The Only way to Remove the Carbide from my blades is by grinding it and you will have to use a ceramic belt...

It will not sandblast off or wear off, it is permanent.

I have tried to sandblast it off at 100psi using Silicon Carbide and it doesnt even touch it... Silicon Carbide at 100psi will cut tool steel at 60rc

Let me repeat...The only way to get the carbide off is to intentionally grind it off using a ceramic belt.

Do I guarantee that the carbide will not come off...Yes..

Will I recarbide your knife for Free if it does come off...Yes..

I have been a professional knifemaker for fourteen years.

We are not playing games or gambling on unproven technology.

If it doesnt work we dont use it...

Whether its a $2,000.00 Damascus Folder or a $49.00 Carbide Shank

For what its worth I cant turn on the lights in my shop for $49.00

I am really trying to offer serious value for 2011

that looks awesome! does the heat coloring wear off?

Thanks Friend
In my experience heat coloring is more durable than anodizing.
It is relatively durable and will not wear off under normal use.
It will wear if you use a kydex sheath or clean the blade with something abrasive.
It looks good with a little wear, more character.
Thanks..

Hey Mike, these awesome Cutters come with Kydex? thanks!! Stabber

Thanks Friend.
This particular model does not include a sheath
I do have another model (anodized and blinged out) with a leather sheath
I will try post pics of the leather sheath and make them available seperatlely. Give me a call if you ever need anything..We might be able to work together on something..361 443 0161
