This is my fourth knife that I made for my cousin as a Christmas present. :)

The specs are:

3" 1084 blade

3.8" acacia handle

Black kydex sheath

Thanks for looking, all comments and critiques are welcome!

It looks pretty darn good, and for your forth, very good. I do believe that making a handle that is not quite as round would make it more user friendly.

good proportions, clean lines, no scorching around the pins, no visible glue squeeze-out, and even contours on the handle -- I like it!
good work, congrats.

Looks good! Have you noticed the kydex scratching up the wooden scales at all? I was gonna make a few with wooden handles but I read somewhere that a kydex sheath would muck up polished wood pretty fast.

Great job. Looks to be a well made user. As far as a critique, it looks as though you have multiple grain directions from sanding on the blade. For your next one try and make sure all the scratches are out from the previous grit before moving on to the next one. Keep it up.

I haven't noticed scratching or effect on the wood.

Are you referring to this picture?

If so, I think it's just the wood grain is kind of digitalized looking. If not, could you expound on what you mean? I'm not quite sure what you mean. :)

Thanks everyone!!!

I was referring to the first picture which shows the blade itself, not the handle. There appears to be scratches running perpendicular to each other. Not a big deal but just something to strive for on your next. If it's just the way the picture came out then my apologies. Still a good looking knife.

Ah, I think it's mostly smudges and other little things. There may be one scratch, but not very noticeable. Thanks for the comments!
