What knife are you carrying to celebrating America's Independence?

I'm carrying a Beer Scout

I will have nothing on me because I will be on a 9 hour flight from Atlanta to Maui Hawaii that day.

Poor me.

I just did a Google image search for "American flag knife" and I was not disappointed with the results.

I'm having scales made for my PM2 that are cast iron with a fist and the USSR flag on them.

I'll probably be carrying this 46-year-old Case Sodbuster that I just picked up yesterday:

Hard to get more American!

I don't have a PM2 w iron-fists & USSR flags on the scales, which sounds like hardcore personified, but I do have a ton of badass fixed to choose from & carry on that very special day. I'll likely be wearing my newest knife, a freaking amazing 10 5/8"OAL/6"CE beauty. I just finished my 20-coats of Tru-Oil on the stabilized fraxinus excelsior burl scales, so by the 4th, I'll have a couple coats of paste wax over that & she'll be good to carry.

It's a week celebration for me.

"The second day of July, 1776, will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more." -John Adams
