4th of July Weekend!

Whoops, I should have looked where I was at, too. Sorry for the derail, but I guess technically it's the 5th, so maybe I'm okay :D

I was smiling while reading at that story HK and was thinking to myself hope HK wasn't standing right underneath his buddy just in case that buddy let loose of something his body couldn't have controlled and luckily didn't come to that ;)

This sub has been mostly derailing central since S!K has been off in June, so no worries Sir. May July be a more productive and fruitful month for both Survive! and the Survivors!

Any story that has "hold my beer" in it, is going to be a good one!
There's no damn way I'd climb up a tree after a scared animal!

My old roommate Jenny worked at a animal rescue up in Big Bear and took my ex and I up there to meet some of the animals. They had two raccoons that were tamed and they were a blast to play with. We put grapes into an empty peanut butter jar and those little buggers were able to open them with no issues. One of them pick pocketed some gum out of my pocket also.

I had more problems with cockroaches than rats when I lived in Riverside, but I never had any palms in my yard.
No matter how clean you keep the house the roaches are waiting!

Friend of mine (isn't it always a friend that these things happen to) was home alone and up late when he noticed that there was water running. Raccoon had figured out how to turn on the hose and flooded the backyard.

They like to wash their food. Crows too. They come to the bird bath here and do it all the time. It's annoying to find chicken bones etc in there.
