4v Manix 2 in marbled CF - Fradon Lock Company exclusive

The other picture on the above quoted page looks to be a more genuine representation of the color and pattern of this knife.
Exactly what I noticed too. The pic above does look nice with the hints of blue until you realize that it's just the lighting and post photo tweaking. Still should be nice, but the pic is the best looking one of the bunch.

Doesn't do it for me but it looks really nice.
Too big in the pocket. The grind isn't bad but I prefer the more slicey Ffg. There's always a use case for each grind though.
The cf looks great but this is a work knife. I should know Ive used it extensively in s110v. Just don't like to edc it cause of its size in pocket. The slick cf handle scales just make it more of a collector knife.

The price reflects quantity. Really don't want to use something that rare. And I assume most will be keeping them in a safe obviously not everyone.

4v Begs to be used, not in a safe. Not with slick handles. But I'm really glad 4v is available atm. Something tells me it's gonna be limited.

In no way do I think this is a bad knife. Just not for me. But I do think the materials are top end and this is going to be a great knife for collectors or just anyone that likes how it looks etc.

I don't see how this could not be a user. Just that I believe the "Manix2" to be a user knife imho but in some configurations over others are more benift to work tasks while others are for show. And show knives cut the same but often just less grippy due to the higher end materials and how they finish them.

I really like the peel ply texture and how lightweight some of the spyderco carbon fiber sprints are. Gives it a good look to top off function. But yea not every model has to be a work knife. And gentlemans versions are welcome in my book. Just find this one strange to myself at this time in my life.

I agree. I would have bought 2 had they been peel ply G10 and FFG DLC 4V. But with a hollow grind and smooth scales that raise the price by ~$60 i can't really justify this since my knives are users. It is a beautiful piece for a collector though, no doubt.

Is there an exact date and time of release yet?

I really wish this was a FFG. Still hesitant. A krein regrind would be choice with this.

Are we thinking they are going to sell out quick? Anyone snag a 20CV PM2 yesterday afternoon? They sold out in 23 minutes! Batch on that one however was between 900-1000 pieces.

This will be interesting. :D

I feel like the price and grind may make these last a little longer. I'm skipping this one but I'm still tempted to wake up early and see if there is another frenzy.

It seems knives over $200 are usually difficult to be sold out. I think it would take at least months for this one. We will see.

My order is in.
Pretty knife with a great steel, win win.
Sure it's at the upper end of the price scale but that will certainly confound the flippers, puts a smile on my face.
