5.11 Tactical ATAC boots

anyone wear these?...if so, pros/cons?.......I have been thinking about trying a pair......thanks!
 
Great boots took me 2 years to wear mine out and that was wearing them every day in the winter comfortable right out of the box and nice and lite i would definitly buy them agian.
 
They're not bad, I had mine go through especially fast wear and tear. Lasted about a year of every day wear and such.

To be honest, now that I've been through a few pairs of boots, I'd recommend Danners instead.
 
I have a pair of the ATAC Speed 8's and love them. Mostly, I am ever impressed with 5.11's customer service. Mine were squeaky, so I e-mailed them. Two days later, I received a new pair and an apology. I have worn a few pairs of their boots out in the past, but they are super comfortable and durable enough for all day wear.
 
I have a couple of the C-T8 A.T.A.C and really dig'em for general everyday wear. Comfortable out of the box, long wearing and the ankle pouch is a great addition. However if you are on the "move", check out their XPRT Tactical. They are as good a boot as I have found, and great value price wise.

thanks guys.....just went to a local store and tried a pair on, unfortunately all they had were the 8" version and I want the 6", but they felt pretty comfortable and the quality on them was good, so I ordered 2 pair of the 6".....now I just have to wait ten days for them to show up....I was also kinda glad I was able to buy them locally as opposed to over the internet, even though that prolly would have been a little faster
 
Try Belleville boots. They are the best, and made in the USA unlike Danner and the rest which are all made in china.
 
just a quick update......these finally arrived and I have been wearing them the last three days.....very comfortable, they felt "broken in" right out of the box...I'm pretty impressed with them so far.....plus the store gave me a free hat for spending over $50...and there was a mail in 5.11 coupon attached to the boots for three free pair of socks
