5/16 Beasts!!

Some of the older straight handled steel hearts (SHSH) were 5/16. Or so they said. Come to think of it, they were always photographed from the side, not the top. I think some of the off duty's were 5/16 also.

You guys use avatars? My browser is text only, I must be missing something...

I have been wanting to upgrade my membership, so start those donations flowing or you will be seeing another badgering bear! ;) :D

Peter,

Seriously, there have been various thicknesses over the years, anywhere from .090" (NICK) to 3/8" (Off Duty & MOAB). 5/16" was used occasionally on some of the MS, SH BA & Steel Heart II models (and I think SH BM also, but I'm not sure), and 5/16" was re-introduced in the Fusion line. Some SH II's are 9/32", and some E-handle models are approx. .270", so there have been variations between 1/4" & 5/16". Enjoy that EU-17 Magnum!

Does anyone ever tell the truth around here? :D

Not if we can help it. LOL Or, if the other Hogs can tell if we're talking 'big Ca Ca'.

The 5/16's that I KNOW of, in my possesion. SHBA in A2 and INFI. SHSH, also in A2 and INFI. SHBM in INFI (very rare) and MS, also in A2. The INFI version might be .270, I'd have to Mic it to be sure. It's way fatter than the 1/4" I carry. It was sold to me as the Desert Warfare Mean Street. Tan grips to be sure, but the smooth black coat (Didn't have tan back then).

HTH
