This shadow style (no bolster) trapper by John is a neat size & really nice blade profile. Goreous elephant ivory scales ,gently radiused,just perfect.3-3/8" closed , 6" open,blade is 2-5/8" with 2-3/8" of cutting edge. 52100 carbon blade & spring. SS mill relieved liners. Fancy ss shield,inlaid & pinned.Satin finish on the blade with crescent nail pull & cut swedge. Deep hollow ground thin & razor sharp. Glass smooth exceptionally fantastic walk n talk with a 5 + to 6 perfect snappy medium pull. Blade centers closed,spring is flush. Simply outstanding work by John.

Here's a 4.25" trapper by John with awesome Sambar stag scales,nicely tapered & radiused,great texture & color. Opened up this knife measures7-3/4". Blade is 3.5" with 3.25" of cutting edge. 52100 carbon steel blade & spring,deep hollow ground thin,razor slicer. Satin finish & crescent nail pull on the blade. Outstanding fit & finish,and fantastic walk n talk,pull is a medium 5. Smooth action,blade centers closed,spring is flush in all half stop positions. ss pinched bolster,ss pins,ss liners are mill relieved. Nice blade profile. Really nice knife overall.

Here is a nice 3-3/8" closed size trapper by John. It is a "shadow" style (no bolster),with creamy rich looking mammoth ivory. Inlaid & pinned ss shield. Opened up it is 6" with a blade of 2-5/8" ,2-3/8" cutting edge. Super smooth action.Excellent fit & finish. Blade & spring are 52100 carbon steel. Hollow ground thin,wicked sharp. Crescent nail pull with cut swedge & satin finish.Nicely radiused scales. Spring is flush in all half stop positions,blade centers closed. Pull is a snappy 5+. Another fantastic pocket knife by John.
