lol I was going to say, "Your wife just doesn't understand," about taking a picture, but now I think I might be more inclined to agree with her. :P

Though, I guess I have to admit the last time I cut myself that thought had crossed my mind.
 
Last time I cut myself, I got a nice 1/4" deep 1.5inch gash on my palm between my index and middle finger while playing with a JYD flipper. Bled like a stuck pig for about 30 min, then used superglue. That worked great, untill I started playing frisbee and caught a quick one RIGHT on the cut, and it burst back open. When it stopped, glued it up again, and went back to playing, just was more carefull.
 
i am going to have to try some glue next time. in the past i just got a tissue and some duct tape
 
Hey, at least you know it's sharp :thumbup:

I've heard bad things about using super glue to close up your cuts. I'm going to be getting those strips that act as a suture for my first aid situations like that.
 
my wife walked in the other day and noticed a huge bandage on my left thumb.

She asked
"'Oh, what new knife came in the mail today?"

I did not realize that there was a discernible pattern at work here. :o
 
Very nice. I got bit bad at the beginning of january. Cut it down to the bone on my right index finger. Six stitches later i was havin a beer with the guys. All in all it was a good day.
 
Nice battle scar! Another one for the team. :p

I wouldn't mind seeing the sealed up shot, too.

My brother is a Doc at Vandy and when I got bit recently he gave me some grief for using superglue (something about the chemicals in it) and he told me to go buy the stuff that is specifically for cuts. I guess it's by the band-aids. I haven't remembered to do it yet.

It's almost the exact same thing as super glue, except it's sterilized. After you use it the first time, guess what? It's no longer sterile. Just use super glue.
 
with all of these "bite" posts I'm waiting for someone to lop off a body part off with a Junglas... or has that already happened (I'm pretty new here)? I'm curious what it will be referred to, as "bite" doesn't seem adequate. :)
