no 2 -- 15 inch, 22 ounce 10/10 AK by the Old Master, Bura. Only thing wrong with entire rig is 10 minutes worth of rust removal. Once more for less than 1/2 price -- $60

no 3 -- 15 inch 21.5 ounce BAS by the Kobra King. Two items -- 2 minutes worth of rust removal and mismatched karda and chakma. One more time less than half price. Take it home for $49

no 4 -- for Sher fans. 15 inch 18 ounce Sirupati with the "almost convex" Sher edge. Super glue fix crack in handle. Delivered to your door for less than half price -- $49

bottom -- another super deal for Sher fans. 12 inch 15 ounce AK by Sher with the "almost convex" Sher edge. Super glue fix crack in handle. Less than half price -- $49

Take all in one box and be ready for Christmas for $250.

Yep. I once listed all of my khuks by length, blade type, handle material and maker and took the mean from each category to come up with one "composite" knife that would represent them all. It turned out to be an 18" horn handled Bura AK. :D

So even though I don't own one, it represents me well. My actual 18" AK has a wood handle and a KNN mark. It was an orphan too. :)

Hi Bill,
I would have liked the 12 AK, will wait for another one, or a 12 sirupati.

The kukris that arrived last week are really nice, I like them a lot.

I'm sitting slamming my fingers in a drawer to keep from emailing Bill.

PLEASE go for it.

Hi again,
talk to my girl (I'm trying to find a little kukri for her) and said this nice AK is available, but she said would prefer a 12" Sirupati....will wait for one of these....Bill, have you any idea of when maybe available???

Thanks

I'll check and see what Yangdu has thrown into the blem box for tomorrow.

12 inch AK and 18 inch Sirupati are gone.

BAS and 15 " Sirupati still looking for right home.

Interesting observation, Pen. Looks like our knives cost more than Sterling silver based on weight. What knives cost more than gold per ounce? I suspect there are more around than one might think.

The 18 inch Sirupati is mine, actually it's my wife's. It will be one of her Christmas presents. Normally she shows nothing but scorn for my edged toys, but ever since I brought home a 15 inch Sirupati she's been asking me to buy her one. She views them as works of art. So now I consider myself an art collector.

15" Siru, $49

Now I'm slamming my fingers in the drawer. My house already looks like an armory - I have 4 khuks lying around the kitchen in various states of woodchucking. 2 more in the bedroom. Then again, the siru is horn, no woodchucking needed....

:D

that orphan AK would stay in hiding until payday. I guess she wasn't meant to come home with me. Soon.

;)
