5" Camp Utility Knife with Emerald Green Canvas Micarta Handles

These are done in CPM 154 which in my opinion is a much better steel in the fact that it is easier to finish and also to sharpen in the field. The emerald green canvas micarta is for sale. The price of this one is $200 plus $8.00 shipping which will be by USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. The knife comes with a LIFETIME guarantee (my lifetime) as long as it is used as it should be and not abused. The sheath is custom made for it. For Canadian shipping just add $10 and it is yours to any destination in Canada, Hawaii or Alaska. International Buyers welcome and the shipping for overseas is $25 First email gets this one. PayPal is OK for payment if necessary to the email in this paragraph. First email gets this one. Email address is gilbertnorfleet@norfleetcustomknives.com The other knife done in black canvas micarta is already bought and paid for by forum member woodysone. I am currently working on the sheaths for these knives and should be done with them in a few days. Specs are below because I can't get this to work any other way. If I am doing something wrong someone please tell me.

WOW! Gilbert, those are really great looking. Thanks for posting pics. of Dad's knife. Sorry to say though, it going to be used rather then taking space up in the safe. But wait, that's what you make them for isn't it? Thanks again Martin

wow man! those look great!! I really like that tapered tang.., wait, I really like the whole thing!! haha

Reading the description and the comments, I really would love to see this piece but he links don't work and the pics won't display. Too bad, looks like I missed it anyway.:(

Where can I see your work, Gilbert?

Thanks.

Jeff H, the links are back up and working but I need to do some more work on my website like adding more pages and links to those pages.

Just an update. I have not yet received this knife that I paid for on May 31, 2008. More to follow

I shared your concerns mr2blue, BUT I just received a delivery confirmation from Gil, I had a lot longer wait but if it's any where as good as it looks the wait would have been well worth it. Please let us know when yours gets shipped Thanks Martin. PS email sent to you.

I had the same thing happen last year while he was having some health problems. I got it after about 6 or 7 weeks. He never stopped talking to me and explaining the delay. I've bought 4 knives from him and always got my knife. I'd buy from him now.

Anticipation and excitement is a difficult thing to contain , but after looking over Gils photos and seeing the quality of craftmanship involved in the knives he offers , they should be well worth waiting for .

After 6 promises to ship without result I do not have your confidence.

Can't claim any sort of omniscient certainty, but just in case you're new to the custom market, it tends to be something of a 'it happens when it happens' type of thing. In this case, nearly four weeks to ship a finished knife is a little unusual, but I wouldn't be sweating it too much yet.

Best of luck.
