kbog said:Gosh. Holy bold statement Batman. I would assume that you have used all of the other knives in that size range for comparison?
I have no doubt that it is a good chopper and I'm not trying to be a dink, but might there be some knife out there, around the same size, that could outperform it?
I will admit though, for the price, it does seem like an excellent suggestion.
bigbcustom said:Good point Kbog, I may have gotten a little overzealous there. I own seventeen knives in that size range, and have used a few others that friends own. I have played with them nearly as hard as Mr. Stamp (no bricks, and only a few nails lol), and, of those, the BK2 Companion is by far and away the best chopper. Is that better? I will have to stay away from such sweeping statements in the future.
As to better choppers in that size range, the Graham knives unit pictured above might be better, and it is probably 3-5x the price (just guessing here). So, I would guess that I should put a price restriction in place on my opinion as well.
That is just plain cool! Don't think it's what I'm looking for but it is verrrrrrry cool!Keith Montgomery said:Bow about the Graham Knives Knaxe. It has a 3 1/2" blade and was designed to be both a knife and a hatchet.
