you ordered it in August on the 26th if I got the right post. It was the next batch of 8 and they are almost ready. The knives I have posted were started a long time ago and are not from any particular orders, just some I recently finished up.

Don't let them get ya down Gil. You do extremely nice work from what I have seen and inspire me as a maker. Some people need to relize that shit happens and mistakes are made, and all we can do is try our best to correct them. Keep making them nice lookin knives, and all will be well. Thanks, Shane

Thanks Shane, you as a maker know how things are especially when you work alone with no help and each knife is made by hand one at a time and when something in life hits you got to stop and take care of it before you can get back on the knives. I always make good on all knife orders even if it takes me longer, I will always finish and ship every knife order that comes in.

May very well be. I knew there were some problems in the past. Thought I had made it clear in my email that I was not interested in a knife not yet made. I'm sure there are reasons for the delay but the lack of communication is concerning. Hopefully he is a man of his word and there are just extenuating circumstances. If not I've only lost money he has lost much more.

Received notice knife was shipped on the 8th of November. Still have not seen it yet. Still waiting for patiently maybe I'll get lucky. Sent Mr. Norfleet email hopefully will here from him soon.

I hope you get it! I was looking at one of his other knives and someone saved me with a link of what he had previously done/not done. Good luck.

Well I received my knife today and all I can say is WOW! I ordered this from Mr. Norfleet even after reading the other threads. I wasn't in any hurry and figured It was worth the wait/risk. I was right. This is one of the best made knives I think I own. Beautiful attention to detail. Fit and finish are as good as I have ever seen. The Sheath is outstanding as well. Excellent design and functional. If your in a hurry don't bother but if you appreciate a well made functional knife give Mr. Norfleets work another look. It may be a risk but if your patient I think it is worth it. At least it was for me.
Thanks Mr. Norfleet

5" Loveless style - In less than 90 days correct ?
Yes it's a beauty & you pulled the trigger quicker than I, on it. It's Good to see that Gil is getting these out. He's no longer taking new orders. Until he gets caught up with his back order list. Congrats on a fine Blade from a wonderful maker.(jealous) :)

I was mistaken when I said Gil wasn't taking new orders - He will make a knife for anyone willing to order - the overwhelming amount of orders for his 3.5" drop points put him behind schedule. He hopes to be caught up by the end of Nov.
