5 Knives you want

I would probably answer this differently every few weeks, but at the moment, lets say..

Blackjack Halo with patrol handle.
Puma Skinner (German made)
Randall model 1 7"
Puma Hunters Pal (German Made)

Not made yet, but a Bark River Bravo with a 5.25" blade, in 3V, all other specs exactly that same as the Bravo 1. With Green Micarta.

Spyderco paramilitary2 CF/S90V
Large Micarta Sebenza
Spyderco Sage 2
Spyderco Caly 3.5
Fiddleback Forge Hiking Buddy
this is pretty close to my current list (as it's always changing)

1. Spyderco Caly 3 CF-ZDP
2. Spyderco Gayle Bradley
3. Spyderco Sage I and II (this counts as 1 for me :D )
4. Hinderer XM-18 3.5" flipper CF scale (S35V steel if possible)
5. Large Sebenza 21

Gerber Guardian
Microtech Halo

Assuming I could make carry laws and low paychecks go away...

I'm playing too:

1-CRK Small Sebbie 21
2-CRK Large Insingo (Damn you Knifeart for not shipping in Canada *shakes fist to the sky*)
3- Kingdom Armory BtB-F
4- Hinderer XM-18 non-flipper 3" (oh okay, I'd settle for a flipper one)
5- Graham Ringed Razel in green micarta

Anything from Tony Bose

large regular annual Sebenza with either damascus blade or BG42 blade, and mammoth ivory inlays

one of Scott Gossman's Mother Tuskers with an A2 blade, original micarta scales and black liners

an original (1920's-1930's) Remington R1303 single blade bullet knife lockback

Nice thread for self-reflection. ;-)

My to-do-list (I might try in this order):

1. Some good Woodlore clone from O-1 steel w/ nice wooden handles
2. Spyderco H1 folder: Salt 1 or Pacific Salt - maybe with custom handles
3. Fällkniven A1 - maybe with custom handles
4. Standard Buck 110 with leather holster
5. Bark River Bravo-1 (or an Aurora?)

I think when I'm finished with that list I might have enough knives for the rest of my life. (Don't think that I can resist the Izula folder when it comes out though.)

My list as of today is:

1. Hinderer XM-24
2. CRK Zaan
3. Emerson Persian
4. Emerson Roadhouse
5. CRK 2008 Annual

Yep, I'd be happy with these 5 as my next purchases.

Horton folder
Scott Cook Lochsa lefty
Andrew Demko custom (ordered)
BAN BT4 (ordered)
Busse Sarsquatch

Remember the movie "The Rookie", the reporter asks Dennis Quiad at the end which 3 pitches he threw ? Quaid says, "fastball, fastball and .. fastball"

My answer:

"Busse
Busse
Busse
Busse
And Busse"

(Chuckle)

Busse ASH 1
Bravo 1
ZT 0501
Large Sebenza (of course)
Small Bark River

That would be a good haul for the day.

ESEE-3MIL
ESEE-5
Izula w/ Micarta Handles
Benchmade Glory Knife 150
Benchmade 32 Morpho

1. Spyderco Sage (1 or 2??--can't decide!)
2. Emerson A100 (mini perhaps?)
3. Benchmade 940 Osborne (all reviews point to awesomeness)
4. Spyderco Kopa (CF or pearl/abalone = super sweetness!)
5. Case Hobo Tool (with spoon--begs for a second-helping!)

If money wasn't an issue:
1) Large Sebenza w/ Raindrop Damascus
2) Mnandi
3) Lone Wolf Paul Defender CF
4) Cold Steel Trail Master San Mai III
5) Spyderco Para-Military 2 CF-S90V

Realistically:

2) Spyderco Resilience
3) Ontario RTAK II
4) Spyderco Persistence
5) Spyderco Military

This one is currently in the making by Winkler Knives. Can’t wait for it to arrive.
Knife-SK0020.jpg

I don’t have a bowie knife, I think this one is good to start my craze. By John Fitzen.

I’ve always like Emerson’s take on the classic karambit knife.

The Kestrel by RMJ forge will be on my riffle plate carrier sooner or latter.

I like this camp knife by ML knives, his possible bags are really nice as well.
