5" of INFI under $200

the hump is in the wrong place. Choil is too far away. And I'm not a Mudder Handle fan.
I'll see when mine arrives. For the price, this would be a knife to mod to taste and keep without worrying about resale value down the road. An excellent way to get a nice piece of steel for relatively small outlay.

i like the s5 at 99.00 and ill keep my cg,,,but not enough to buy one at alomost 200.00 even if its infi.not a big fan of the handle.just doesnt feel quite right in my hand.ill take the ratmando over this model.almost the same size blade but with a much better handle.

I like the S5 quite a lot, but am not sure that shiny INFI is worth almost twice the price. Still, I'd rather buy one now, and then give myself a little while to decide whether I'm gonna keep it, than miss out and regret it later.

It's not like these will be hard to get rid of on the second hand market. INFI + mudder handles is a nice combo - just look at the popularity of the SS4, which usually sells for over 200 bucks second-hand, and it's combat grade.

In true Busse fashion it does not come with a sheath. It would likely fit the 6" nylon sheath they sell, but that sheath will also fit a 7" blade so will be kinda big. Your best bet is to look at the custom sheath makers

Here's some pics of the S5CG in the 6" nylon sheath sold at the Scrapyard store and with/in the Spec Ops 6" Navigator.

They'll fit but the sheaths are bulky.
I think the SpecOps is a better fit, but that's a relative thing, the knife still seems to be swimming in nylon.

When I decide exactly what I want sheath wise I'll be ordering a number of sheaths from one of the usual suspects of Bussekin kydex benders and leather manglers.

Anybody know how thick this one is? I ordered one anyway, just curious about the specs.

I want one sooo bad! But I have a Waki on the way (hopefully), And just pulled the trigger on an SAR5 (hope I get it!) So I will at least have to wait 2 weeks :( I hope there are some left over!

They won't charge you until the knife ships, and it will probably be a couple of weeks minimum before it ships. Buy yours now before they are all gone!

guys, I would like to order one, but I just cannot go trough their "order" page, and my emails are bouncing back....

would some of ya proxy for me? :o
errr...

That's a great deal!By the time I have the cash for this one, they'll all be gone.:grumpy:

Awesome I love the S-5.

Got mine paid for already, when you use pay-pal you pay right now, unless I am missing something.

And I already have a home for the little INFI guy. :D

Tough call when last week you could get 4" of satin D2 for half that price.

I really would like to hold a SS5, but I don't want to own it to do so.

You can come hold my SS5 anytime................for free ;)

I got mine last night too. I have been wanting something in Infi, and this fits in with my idea of reasonable price. No, need to finally get a Busse!

I beat all the HOGS and DOGS, and scored number 1....

HA!

I AM ALL THAT IS MAN.

I didn't like the look of the handle but I find it fits my mid sized hands perfectly. I love the way it grips in my hand.

It is also balanced quite well which took me off guard.

For my hands and tactile senses, I find it (regular version not infi version, I haven't got the infi) very ergonomic, user friendly, with function given more priority.

If you got regular sized hands go for it.
