I'm looking for a hawk that would stand up to camp/yard chores and some light chopping. I have no preference on materials of the head or handle and am open to all suggestions. I prefer to have a hammer instead of a spike on the opposite side of the head from the blade.

I do LOVE the looks of a one piece hawk, but I know for under $50 that would be kind of hard to find.

I want something that looks utilitarian and not "tactical", but, again, I'm open to all suggestions and reasons for your suggestions.

Ideally I'd love to have a Graham Rawk, but there's no way I'm shelling out that much.

Thanks!

Estwing Rigger's Axe, Shingle Hatchet or Camp Axe. They're constructed of a single piece of steel.

Oops - you want a 'hawk. The Cold Steels are pretty good.
