Well I picked up my 50# little giant on the weekend and after a bit of effort because the local farmer didn't show up to lift it on the trailer , got it home. My Farmer neighbour was a little more dependable and we had it unloaded and set in the garage in about ten minutes. Currently it is sitting on a couple of 3/4" round bars so I can roll it around and in to position. After getting some of the thick paint knocked off the labels it turned out to be a 50# 'Canadian Giant" built in Hespeler Ontario which is about 10 miles from here as the crow flies. This machine is ser.#15 and is built by the AB Jardine co. presumably under license to Little giant co. If anyone has any other info it would be appreciated. Thanks goes to my wife Nancy for grabbing the camera. Paul

Its great to get a power hammer in the smithy. Give that arm a break.

Congrats, Fred

Great pics Paul!

I didn't have any power equipment to move my 50 or 100#!!! :grumpy:

Other than a come-along, and a 3 ton chain fall.

Thanks for sharing... I know that excitement you've got right now!!! :D

Thanks for the comments . Nick ,thats how it went on the trailer . Chain the base to the trailer so it wouldn't kick out and push it over and lay it down, then get out the come along. All told it took about an hour. Ok , 45 min. to get up the nerve to manhandle it over and 15 minutes to drag it on. Here are a couple more photo's.
