A cool book came yesterday, 500 Knives. A bunch of fellow forumites have beautiful work on display: Russ Andrews, Tai Goo, Dan Gray, Don Hanson, J Neilson, Dmitriy Pavlov and Mace Vitale. Hope I haven't missed anyone. What a beautiful book. I believe it hits the bookstores in September.

We walk in the footsteps of giants! :D
 
Got my book also. Yes, some great knives in there.
 
So where is the best place to get it at? Or should I say where did yall get your copy since it is not out on the market yet.
 
The folks who get them now are published in the book. It comes out on the shelf Sept. 1.
 
Dan I just went back and looked up your knives ... Holy cow man, that is absolutely beautiful work! Your quillon dagger was one of the pieces that stopped me in my tracks the first time I was flipping through the book, I just didn't recognize your name. Takes my breath away.

I mean it when I say you guys are giants. What a great world we live in.
 
I got my book a while ago... this has been in the makings for about two years... I think now... some very nice stuff in it... :thumbup:
 
Thanks for the compliment. There are some knives in there that are just over the top. I see some and just wonder, how did he do that?
