Well I finally hit 500 posts and I want to do a giveaway to give a little something back to the community and show some appreciation for all the great folks around here as well as for the site that provides a place for us knife crazies to all hang out.

The knife up for grabs is a regular all black Kershaw Blur. It has seen some slight pocket time. I had originally offered this up to 9blades here on the forums because of a comment made in one of my threads but it was politely declined and requested I use it in a giveaway instead, so here it is. I know there are some out there who have never owned a Kershaw or a Kershaw Blur so here is your chance.

Rules:

1: Must be a bladeforum member living within the US or have a US address.

2: For now I am going to limit this to members who either do NOT own a Kershaw OR a Kershaw Blur.

3: One post per forum member needs should include why you want to try a Kershaw or the Blur specifically. The wife will be reading the entries to determine the winner so creativity is a plus.

I will run this until Thrusday March 14th at 11:59PM so that I can have it in the mail on Friday.

I've always wanted to try the Blur but since it's not drilled for left hand carry as an option I never picked one up.

Lol...this is an entry. And seeing as how my birthday is March 14th... Well, that would be an awesome gift. Btw- never handled a Kershaw before but hear they're great blades for the money.

Hey there. I want to try a blur because I absolutely love recurves but the lock always worried me. I love kershaw speedsafe so one day i have to buy one and try it
 
I was going to purchase a Kershaw Blur and then real life appeared in the form of bills in my mailbox and knife will get put off for a couple of months at least since this year has really sucked for my family financially speaking.

I'd be very glad to win as I'd finally get the blur since having to put that knife on the back burner yet again really sucks.

I guess that is my entry into the contest. Thank you for holding a contest and I need to post more often so that I can reach a milestone and hold a contest of my own.

Back in the day I recommended a buddy get a Blur. He did, and went around thwacking it all over the place. I still don't have a Kershaw. :-(
 
This is a very generous GAW. the blur is a wonderful knife. Has personality to it.

Count me in. I have always wanted a Kershaw, but never owned one. The blur, in particular, is a fairly significant model to me because it is what my best friend used to always carry wih him. Recently he moved out of state for college so it's been quite some time since I've seen him or that knife. A blur would be a nice way to keep a part of him with me even though he is gone for now.

I've wanted to try the Blur as it's very well reviewed. However, with my finances right now a USA made Kershaw is not in the books. I'm very picky, so it'll take alot to impress me :).
 
Never had a Kershaw or a real assisted opening knife...thanks for the chance, very generous of you.
 
Is the rule "Never owned a kershaw" or "don't currently own a kershaw"?

If the latter, I'm in. If not, then I wish everyone else all the luck in the world. :)
