$500 to spend what would you buy?

I'd get an RJ Martin Dress Havoc (custom) and a RAT Azula!

:)

edit: just noticed the Dress Havoc is $495. I'd just get that.

My ex-wife is married to an ex-con so she is making his life miserable. I've been spending my money any way I want to for nine years. But if an extra $500 came my way I'd probably spend it on a Sebenza just to see what all the hype is about.

RAT 4 w/orange G10 handles, then a SAK custom worked by SwissBianco, then take the wife & family on a 2-3 day snow trip.

Yup. Who says $$$ can't buy :) ?

thx - cpr

So far my list reads like this

Rat RC-4
Benchmade 710 (updated)
Benchmade Mini Grip
Spyderco Mini Manix (updated)
Spyderco Native 4 (if it is released by then)

Leaves me about 30 bucks give or take. It may change but I kind of like this.

Changed two contenders for those watching the thread.

I would get an Edge Pro to keep my Sharpmaker company, then a G-10 Endura, and an Emerson Comrade. If I had anything left over I would spend it on a strop and some compound. Or I might forgo the Endura and extras and pick up a set of those Griptilikins G-10 scales for the Griptilian.

Okay, a Rat fixed blade and a Ruger Mark III .22LR stainless pistol.

Are you going to run this by Suzy Orman?

If I really needed to spend $500 on knives, I would get Lisa's Pick of the Month Sebenza (if it is a killer design). But what I really would spend $500 on is .45 ACP and .357 mag/.38 spl. ammo.

Since you already have an iphone, and since you seem not to be concerned with the credit crunch, here's a true gem from the nice French artisan gentlemen of Fontenille-Pataud: their new Le Thiers knife in a lovely damascus version with carbon fiber handle. This knife's picture could be in a dictionary next to the word "elegance". Yours for $484 and certainly in the USA much rarer than a Sebenza.

Admit it. You want it. Now.

$484 is a lot to spend on a knife that's missing one of its scales:)
