Up for grabs is another one of my frontier belt knives. This one has some very cool and unique handle material. It is some 500+ yr old Black that was salvaged from the bottom of Lake Superior. I got it from my friend and fellow knifemaker Scott Roush. It has a very cool rich color and figure that doesn't show up in pics. The knife will come with a certificate for the age of the wood.
The blade steel is L6 and the pins are copper. It has hammer textured flats and I gave it a nice antique finish as well.
It is ground nice and thin, and is shaving sharp.
Here are the specs.
OAL - 8 1/4"
Blade - 4 1/8"
Steel - .125" L6
Handle - 500yr old "Black Oak"
Pins - Copper
Sheath - Heavy duty, hand stitched veg tan leather.
Price - SOLD $305 + $10 Priority shipping in the US.
Paypal Preferred to
bentendick at gmail.com
I also accept postal money orders
Thanks for looking!!!
