501 Squire Belt Sheath Why?

I carry my 501 in the watch pocket of my jeans fits perfect

I often carry my knife in a belt pouch whn not in my back pocket. It makes it easier to grab the knife if I'm sitting, bending, etc. I also have way too much stuff in my front pockets to fish through when I need the knife. I wear loose fit jeans.

My Esquire has a sheath, although I don't carry it in the sheath - knife is well used, sheath is virtually new. I do prefer belt sheath carry for Buck 110, 112, and 500 size LB's but for the Buck 501 and down - they are pocketknives to me. OH

Because people like me are anal about having anything in their pockets. I don't have many 501's but even my sole 55 has a sheath.

How do you like the 55? I have a small 505 which I love but want something bigger. Either 55 or maybe 501

Consider the 503. It’s the same size as the 55 but with a drop point and nickel bolsters like the 501 and 505. It’s a great size knife for a front pocket.
