Comes with box and rechargeable lithium ion AA size batteries, but they are 3.7volt not 1.5volt. Cost me almost $300 I'm letting it go for $200.
Yes this laser is violet, almost ultraviolet, no it cannot burn but it does make things glow like a black light. It's a very unique color for a laser pointer, but it is not as visible as a green one regardless of it being high power. The human eye is most sensitive to green light so green lasers appear much brighter. Not saying it isn't intense, IT IS VERY BRIGHT. The violet is hard for the eye to focus on at a distance so it may look blurry.
