I did wipe vinegar on it when new.

A little wipe occasionally with mineral oil should prevent it.

carrying this one today. no patina here. dont care for it really. im in the swamp and jungle just wipe it clean and keep it dry....amazing no rust thread needed.

hope not.....then again has to be a first time for someone out there dealing with medium carbon steel and learning about rust and such......

Hello Caine, Charcoal is Dymondwood as in the 110 standard, but in this case it is tinted in black tones, that is the reason why they call it Charcoal.
