Hey folks,

I'm back at last with another finished blade. You folks have probably forgotton about me in the mean time. This was a nice little knife done for a collector in NM. He started out wanting a full tang EDC with micarta handle, but happened along this nice piece of stabalized amboyna so it turned into this:

5160 blade with hand rubbed finish
Blade length: 4"
Overall length: 9"
Stainless guard,spacers, and pin
Stabalized amboyna burl handle
Inside pocket carry sheath (left undyed at customer's request)

Thanks for looking folks, hope you enjoy.

Thanks folks.

Got to love amboyna burl. Its pretty high up on my list of "favorite" woods. Problem is there are so many very nice and beautiful woods my list is pretty long, lol.

Outstanding! The whole package is beautiful, but the bolster in particular really caught my eye.

Thanks Brass.

Originally the customer wanted something like this guy, which was a little EDC beater I made myself a couple years ago (still cary it daily too):

The little file worked grooves on the bolster of that knife is where the idea for the "fluted" spacers/ferrule behind the guard came from on this knife. As an interesting bi-product, the deep grooves do improve grip on the knife quite a bit as well.

Graham, Haven't forgotten about you at all, in fact still trying to come up with the funds to get the maple integral you have for sale. Love your work!!!

Great looking knife! Looks too nice to daily carry, but I'd still want to. Probably would, just to show it off!
