My name is Bob Benfield. I have been on the forum for a while but this is my first post to the exchange. I started making knives in 1995. In 2000 I attended the ABS bladesmithing class under Jay Hendrickson and have been increasing my knife making over the last few years.

This is a bowie I forged from 5160. The overall length is 12 inches. The handles is ebony wood. I also made the sheath. It is hand stitched 8-9 oz leather, hot dipped in bee’s wax and neatsfoot oil.

I added a pic below of some fun I had cutting and testing the blade.

Forged 5160
Flat grind with taper
Hand sanded to 600 grit
Ebony handle
Nickel silver guard and pin
Blade length 7 1/4 inches
Blade width is 1 1/4
Overall length 12 inches

Price is $230 and includes shipping and insurance within Continental US. If you receive this knife and do not like it I will gladly refund your money. I accept paypal and USPS money order. I am sure I forgot something so feel free to ask.
