5160 Buck knife lineup

Good to know bertl. Thank you. I don't own a single solitary carbon blade of any sort even areal honey beauty like these ultra sharp jet black on precious yellow gold short swords. Maybe time has come today.
 
I ordered a pathfinder. I have other carbon steel knives Oregon but with the exception of some 90's vintage USA made Marbles fixed blades I have none as nice looking at these.
 
I purchased 4 knives from the seller. The 4th one came in incorrect. I could not get the seller to respond to me refund request. I had to get Ebay involved.
Maybe its just anomaly . Maybe the seller just missed the request. I like what he is doing with the knives but customer service goes a long way.
 
I agree. I ordered direct from the sellers site but if that happens I have the credit card to put a dispute in with. The seller has a 99.9 rating with the auction site one negative I recall was a situation like yours but you can file a dispute with them or paypal.

I asked this very question of Copper Clad: Frontiersman model #124 in Spring Steel 5160 and the answer was maybe later in the year. I really like the big Bowie 124 and 5160 appeals to me for its inherent sharper edge than stainless 420HC that I want to see for myself.

Received my gold and black pathfinder today, numbered 015. Like the 119 very sharp. Received 2 days after notice shipped.
 
I find the sharpness of a stainless blade to be more than sufficient and I use knives a lot. That small benefiet is not near worth the aggrevation of RUST. Won't be long now and there will be post showing up of how to fix their rusty Buck. But hey that's just my o2 I would Never buy one. The SS is why I buy and collect BUCK.
