Here's my latest finished knife, a 5160 Camp/utility in 1/4" 5160 with oiled figured Black Walnut and stainless dovetailed bolsters. I'm a newer maker, and this is the first time I've done a tapered tang, dovetailed stainless bolsters, and also the first blade I've marked with my name. Blade is ~5", OAL ~9.5".

Any and all feedback and constructive criticism is welcome and appreciated!

I really like the look of the tapered tang. Practical too, as it reduces weight in the handle, which helps balance the knife. Stephen

Sorry, I forgot to mention I really like the Knife! It is so well constructed that one would assume that it was made by someone with many years of experience. I live in southern AZ. I'd like to see more of your work. Stephen

Very very nice knife. I love the dovetail bolsters and tapered tang. Sheath looks pretty good too!

Fantastic work!! I really like the dropped edge, plus I'm a sucker for 5160. Great steel choice for tough blades. An elegant piece designed and built for heavy use.

Superbly made. I like to see your name. You should change your screen name to your real name.

I have to agree with Bruce. I have always failed to understand why a maker would use a nic instead of a real name when trying to promote his knifemaking skills. Nice knife and sheath but change the nic.

Thanks for the feedback, Murray! The reason for the nickname is that I was a member of this forum long before the thought of making a knife was even a twinkle in my eye, and I only recently started making knives to sell (as opposed to just giving them away to friends and family members as gifts.)

Thanks again to all for the nice feedback, and I also welcome any contructive criticism that anyone wants to share (privately via email is fine if that's preferred.)
